In the last few months, a few of my pictures have been featured on Pioneer Woman’s Photography site!
I’ve been following the photography section of her site since she used to run “Title this photo” contests (when maybe 200 people participated). When she changed things up (due to the sheer # of participants, I’m sure) and began running photography assignments/contest, I started submitting photos to her “PW Photography Assignments” flickr pool.
Just about every time she posts a new assignment/contest, I submit at least one entry. The competition is super-stiff – lots of jaw-dropping photos are submitted (out of the hundreds – literally – total submissions) for every assignment!
So, I was pretty tickled when she chose one of my photos for her “Horses” assignment in April of this year, and then again when she chose TWO of my 2011 Tempe Town Lake fireworks photos to feature in her “Your Fireworks Shots” post last week!
